Dedicated to the victims of the 2015 terrorist attacks in Tunisia the Sousse Bardo Memorial is set within a discrete clearing beneath mature trees at Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham.

The dramatic sculpture ‘Infinite Wave’, conceived by George King Architects, is a thought provoking and distinctive centrepiece whose character changes as the visitor moves through the space. Comprising 31 highly polished stainless steel tubes, representing each of the British victims, it is set within concentric bands of cut stone and mown grass that evoke the ripples of loss created by the events in Tunisia.  We worked closely with GKA and the contractor to implement the high degree of precision in hard and soft landscaping for the project. Dedicated by Prince Harry at a ceremony attended by many of the victim’s families and friends the memorial creates a powerful and moving sense of place for visitors to the park.
